Gardaí have seized cannabis plants after searches in counties Leitrim and Roscommon today.
Seven premises - six in south Leitrim and one in Elphin, Co Roscommon - were targeted, and a number of cannabis plants were seized with an estimated street value of about €84,000.
Two men in their 50s were arrested and are being detained in Carrick on Shannon Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
