A man was arrested yesterday afternoon after heroin with a street value €700,000 and two semi automatic pistols were found during a search of an apartment on the Ennis Road in Limerick.
Smaller quantities of cocaine, cannabis herb and ecstasy were also found as well as some rounds of ammunition.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene. He is being detained at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939.
