A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in the case of the seventh suspect detained under the Drug Trafficking Act following a £3 million cannabis seizure in Tallaght.
The seven-day detention allowed under the Act expired yesterday morning but the man was remanded in custody at Dublin District Court on unrelated charges.
Five other men detained after the seizure on November 13th were set free by the same court last week after Judge William Earley ruled their arrests were unlawful.
