Cocaine with a street value of £10,000 and £1,000 in cash were seized by gardai after they visited a premises in Ballyfermot, Dublin, early yesterday. Three men were detained at Ballyfermot Garda station following their arrest at 12.50 a.m.
In a separate operation, £500 worth of heroin and £3,000 in cash were seized in Ballyfermot on Thursday evening. Two men were being detained under the Criminal Justice Act, a Garda spokeswoman said yesterday.
Ecstasy with an estimated street value of £25,000 was seized by gardai in Cork on Thursday night.
A man was arrested after a premises at Blarney Street was searched at 9.30 p.m.
