MEXICO CITY - Mr Raul Salinas Lozano, father of the former Mexican president, Mr Carlos Salinas de Gortari, yesterday denied any link to drug trafficking and said a New York Times article alleging he was involved in the drugs trade was false.
In a separate development, the Mexican government has denied a news report that troops had raided a house belonging to the top aide of the former president.
