NOTTINGHAM - An inquest heard yesterday that a 20 year old woman may have inadvertently caused her own death with a lethal mixture of drink and drugs. The hearing was told that Claire Pierce, daughter of Nottinghamshire police superintendent Mr Roy Pierce, had taken 20 painkillers, 1 1/2 Ecstasy pills and a large amount of alcohol last Saturday night.
