Double take

Two press statements released last Tuesday have come Quidnunc's way. They are on the same subject, namely the awarding of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland silver medal for conservation, for work carried out on Government Buildings. They differ in one important aspect. The RIAI release says the award was presented that day by the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, to Noel de Chenu, former principal architect at the OPW. The OPW release says that Minister of State, Martin Cullen received the medal that same day from the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern. Some mistake here surely?
