Gardaí are continuing to question a man in connection with the 2006 murder of former senior republican and British agent Denis Donaldson. The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested in Co Monaghan on Saturday.
This is the third arrest in connection with the murder of Donaldson, who was shot dead at a remote farmhouse at Cloghercor, Doochary, near Glenties, Co Donegal, in April 2006. So far no one has been charged with the killing.
