Dog owners in Sandymount and Clontarf in Dublin will be issued with free "poop scoops" by the city council today in an effort to make them clean up after their animals.
Council dog wardens and litter wardens will be handing out the specially-designed shovels to dog walkers on Sandymount and Clontarf parades at 11.00 a.m.
