LONDON - A majority of doctors in the UK are in favour of a change in the law to allow "physician assisted" suicide. The first UK research on the issue, carried out by Dr Sheila McLean of Glasgow University, found that 54 per cent of doctors supported a legal change to allow them to help patients to end their lives in certain circumstances.
