LONDON - A Scottish doctor warned yesterday that England could see an increase in domestic violence if it loses its Euro 96 soccer semi final match against Germany this week.
Dr Mac Armstrong, secretary to the British Medical Association, said marital abuse in Edinburgh increased after Scotland's defeat by England last weekend.
