A man has been arrested on suspicion of dissident republican terrorist activity in Co Down.
The PSNI said detectives from the serious crime branch were involved in the operation.
The suspect (55) is understood to be from the Newry area.
He is being questioned by officers at the PSNI's serious crime suite in Antrim.
