Shanghai - A prominent Chinese dissident, released from a labour camp this year, left for the United States yesterday, one day after the return of President Jiang Zemin from the US. Mr Bao Ge (33), in a statement sent faxed to Reuters, said the landmark visit had created a brief climate of tolerance, allowing him to leave.
