THE Labour Court has been unable to issue a recommendation in a dispute at Trinity College, Dublin, which is now almost certain to disrupt examinations.

The annual Trinity Ball has already been cancelled because of the dispute which is over staff pension rights.

The college authorities and SIPTU agreed to go to the Labour Court, but no agreement was reached at the court hearing held yesterday.
