Mr Justice Carney agreed yesterday to allow another High Court judge, Mr Justice Johnson, to sentence a Galway rapist, Paul Cullinane, in the Central Criminal Court. The case will be dealt with on April 14th. Last February, Cullinane (31), of Barry Avenue, pleaded guilty to raping a girl aged 16 in Galway on August 24th, 1993.
