A threat to Derry City football club's future was lifted in court yesterday.

A threat to Derry City football club's future was lifted in court yesterday.

The Inland Revenue had applied for a winding-up order in the High Court in Belfast because it was owed £43,000. But the Bankruptcy Master, Mr Charles Redpath, dismissed the petition on being informed the bill had been paid.
