Manila - Deep Blue Junior, a compact version of the supercomputer which beat the world chess champion, Gary Kasparov, in May, is to "visit" the Philippines to play a series of exhibition matches in October. Deep Blue Junior, which will tentatively arrive here on October 31st, is capable of analysing 50,000 chess moves per second, compared to 200 million possible moves per second for Kasparov's conqueror. - (AFP)
