Mr John Scott, of Bramley View, Castleknock, Dublin failed to pass on to a recording' and rehearsal studio fees he had been paid by top Irish groups, including Hothouse Flowers, a court heard.

Mr Michael Durack, counsel for The Factory studios at Barrow Street, Dublin, told Dublin Circuit Civil Court Mr Scott owed his client Pounds 6,754. Mr Scott had invoiced the various groups and had failed to meet studio hire costs when he had been paid by them. Judge James Carroll, who granted a decree for the full amount, allowed a solicitor for Mr Scott to come off record on the grounds he could not get instructions. Mr Scott did not appear in court.
