Hong Kong - The death of a three-year-old boy with a flu usually confined to chickens has sparked worries that a lethal new virus has formed and rekindled memories of a "Hong Kong flu" epidemic that caused widespread deaths.

The child died in May with ailments including pneumonia, respiratory disease and an inflammation of the brain.
