Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding a man’s death in Co Offaly at the weekend.
The Polish national, who was in his early 30s and did not live in the Edenderry area, was at a party at a house in Edenderry on Sunday evening when it is believed he fell.
Paramedics were called at about 7pm. The man was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore where he was pronounced dead.
A postmortem is expected to be carried out today.
A Garda spokesman said the incident was still under investigation.
