Death of former concert promoter

Mr Mickey Connolly, a former business partner of a leading concert promoter, Mr Jim Aiken, has died after a short illness.

Mr Mickey Connolly, a former business partner of a leading concert promoter, Mr Jim Aiken, has died after a short illness.

Mr Connolly, who was in his late 60s, was involved in a number of major events including Slane concerts featuring The Rolling Stones and Queen and U2's 1984 Croke Park show.
