THE DEATH has occurred of Cleo Geldof, sister of musician and development activist Bob Geldof.
Ms Geldof died in Spain in the early hours of yesterday morning. She had spent a lot of time in the south of Spain in recent years.
The mother of two and grandmother of one was in her late 60s and was predeceased by her husband some years ago.
Her father, Bob snr, died in Dublin in August, a few months short of his 96th birthday.
Ms Geldof had been unwell for some time and her brother Bob had been at her bedside in Spain before he flew to Dublin to address the Hot PressMusic Show in the RDS, Dublin last week.
She was one of three children.
Her only sister is the writer and Unicef campaigner Lynn Geldof.
She is also survived by her partner Ralf.
