SINN Fein president Gerry, Adams will probably not have cause to complain about the Garda intercepting some of his recent mail. In the week after the London bombs, the Garda and the Army bomb disposal squad were called to the Central Sorting Office to deal with a suspicious package addressed to "Gerry Adams, St James Street, Dublin."
It was gingerly opened by bomb disposal officers who found contained a Bible and a compact disc of music by a band called Sad Men. Sections of the Bible relating to the evil of violence were underlined.
