The team which represented Ireland at the 18th world games for the deaf in Copenhagen was welcomed home yesterday by the Minister of State for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Ms Mary Wallace. She said their achievements in securing six world records, three gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal, were "a testament to the athleticism and dedication of the team".
