Berlin - The US screen star Robert de Niro apologised to organisers of the Berlin Film Festival yesterday for being unable to attend a tribute they had programmed for him.
"Personal and professional" reasons prevented him from attending the tribute scheduled for today, he said in a video message shown for festival-goers.
