DCC buys UK fuel distributor

DCC said this morning it has bought Southern Counties Fuels Holdings for €9.75 million cash.

DCC said this morning it has bought Southern Counties Fuels Holdings for €9.75 million cash.

DCC has spent €95 million buying Britain-based oil distribution companies so far in the year to March 31st.

It said the acquisition is another step towards consolidating the oil-distribution business in Britain and enhancing its position as a leading oil distributor.

Southern Counties operates from eight depots and has 135 employees.
