The wife of singer Daniel O’Donnell is to talk about living with depression as part of an event organised by a suicide prevention group.

Majella O’Donnell (51) revealed last year how she has suffered from depression for much of her adult life and had contemplated suicide in the past.

The mother of two will take part in Feelgood Fortnight, a two-week event promoting positivity, community spirit and “random acts of kindness” in Buncrana, Co Donegal, starting this Saturday.

She will be guest speaker at a seminar entitled Take Charge of Your Life – an afternoon to get you thinking.

The seminar is being organised by the Buncrana Community Combating Suicide group.
