Dana has denied that she is right-wing or has any links with Opus Dei. The presidential candidate, whose real name is Mrs Rosemary Scallon, said her pro-life views put her in the "mainstream" in the State. Speaking on UTV's Kelly show last night, Dana said she had not received funding from any organisation and would not accept any. She believed her chance of winning the presidential race was "very good".
