A woman has been awarded €23,500 damages against the Health Service Executive.

A woman has been awarded €23,500 damages against the Health Service Executive.

The Circuit Civil Court heard yesterday Rose Healy, Castlecurragh Heath, Mulhuddart, Dublin, was unable to return to her work as a maid in a nursing home after she had been hit on the head by a heavy iron curtain rail on November 6th, 2003.
