Dhaka - A cyclone with hurricane force winds hit the coast of Bangladesh early today after millions of people were evacuated from exposed areas, officials said.
The storm started pounding coastal districts and offshore islands soon after midnight yesterday, then slammed into the resort town of Cox's Bazar and Noakhali district.
