Some 85 kilos of smuggled tobacco, worth about £12,000, were found by customs officials on a truck disembarking from a Holyhead ferry at Dublin port yesterday. The truck driver, who is from Northern Ireland, is to appear before Dublin District Court today. He was held last night at Store Street Garda station.
