The Revenue Commissioners have announced a new two stage appeal procedure in relation to customs and excise matters

The Revenue Commissioners have announced a new two stage appeal procedure in relation to customs and excise matters. In the first instance someone may appeal to a senior manager in the Revenue Commissioners. If the person concerned is unhappy with the ruling, a further appeal can be made to the Appeals Commissioners, independent arbitrators appointed by the Minister for Finance whose decisions are binding on both parties.
