ZAGREB - Croatian President Mr Franjo Tudjman, hospitalised in Washington in November, is "recovering well" and hopes to remain in office a long time yet, his office said yesterday. Official statements have said Mr Tudjman (74) has been suffering from a stomach ulcer and swollen lymph glands.
