Gardai in Dublin are investigating the abduction and assault of a teenager in the city last night.
A man (18) was abducted by two men on Cherry Orchard Court in Ballyfermot at 7pm and driven to Military Road in the Phoenix Park.
He was assaulted and sustained a number of injuries before his assailants fled the scene.
The injured man is being treated in hospital.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses.
