Jordan Publishing has just published Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Ireland: a Handbook for Family Lawyers and Their Clients by solicitor and mediator Josepha Madigan, which outlines all forms of alternatives to litigation in family law.
Use of mediation or collaborative law could save up to 60 per cent of the costs of a traditional adversarial approach to a family law dispute, she said.
