Cocaine worth €420,000 seized in Dublin

Two men have been arrested after gardaí seized 4kg of cocaine, with an estimated street value of €420,000, in the Blanchardstown area shortly after 9pm on Thursday night.

Another 2kg of cocaine was seized in follow-up searches in Cabra and Clondalkin.

The men, aged 36 and 34, are currently being detained at Blanchardstown Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The operations were led by members of the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, supported by the Special Crime Task Force.

Drug seizures

The arrests follow a number of recent drug seizures.

Earlier this month, gardaí in Tallaght seized heroin, cocaine, and cannabis with an estimated street value of €130,000 and arrested one man in his 30s.

Last month, gardaí arrested a 27 year-old man after 3kg of cocaine, with an estimated street value of €210,000, was seized in Clondalkin.
