An 88-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of his wife.
Retired vet Philip Williamson was arrested following the discovery of the body of 83-year-old Josephine Williamson at their home in Lower Earley – a suburb of Reading in Berkshire, England on November 21st last year.
Mr Williamson was taken to hospital also suffering from stomach injuries.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said Mr Williamson had been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court later.
