Alex Pereira yesterday afternoon retraced the same journey to Stockwell Underground station in south London as his cousin Jean Charles de Menezes (27) made before he was shot dead by police at point-blank range on Friday.
Mr Pereira (28), who broke down in tears as he re-enacted the final movements before his cousin died, said he wanted "to show the people they [ the police] could have stopped him before he took the bus.
"They killed him here because they had to show off," he said as he stood inside surrounded by journalists.
