THE publication of John Courtney's book It Was Murder, edited by journalist Tim Ryan, will be celebrated with help from Supreme Court Judge Mr Hugh O'Flaherty on Monday. Courtney, it will be recalled, is a former head of the murder squad and a leading figure in numerous investigations down the years. Some 18 murders and kidnappings are detailed in the book and, says Ryan, there are some revelations on the Malcolm McArthur case.
