Jerusalem - Israel's High Court of Justice narrowly cleared the way yesterday for the Shin Bet security service to go on using interrogation methods that Palestinian prisoners complain are torture, Israel Radio said.

By a vote of 5-4, the court ruled that Shin Bet could use physical pressure in its interrogation of Mr Abdul Rahman Ismail Ghneimat, a Palestinian suspected of leading attacks in Israel.
