The English supermarket giant, Sainsburys, faces a legal challenge which could stop the planned opening of its first Northern Ireland store.

Its rival, Wellworths, been granted leave to apply a judicial review of planning permission for a Sainsburys store at Coleraine.

Wellworths is seeking a High Court declaration that the Department of the Environment acted unlawfully when it granted planning permission last month.
