Judgment was reserved by the High Court yesterday in a claim for damages by members of the family of a man who took his own life within days of being discharged from St Columba's psychiatric hospital, Sligo.

The action against the North Western Health Board was brought by members of the family of Mr Eamonn Healy (57), Broher, Ballinafad, Co Sligo. He died on December 17th, 1989, four days after being discharged from hospital.
