A man who allegedly claimed his brother’s social welfare payment while his brother was away has had his case remanded by Tallaght Court to allow him time to consult a solicitor.

Peter Farrell (30), Rossfield Grove, Tallaght, Dublin, is charged with inducing an employee at Springfield Post Office, to give him a social welfare payment in the name of his brother on August 22nd, August 29th, September 5th, September 12th and September 19th, 2011.
