A couple who have met only on a telephone chatline have decided to get married.

A couple who have met only on a telephone chatline have decided to get married.

Ms Cheryl Forsythe from Belfast and Mr Andy Germond from Kilmarnock have not even seen photographs of each other, but are determined to tie the knot halfway across the Irish Sea next month.

Ms Forsythe (22), a community nurse, will see her fiance for the first time at their wedding ceremony aboard a car ferry on September 27th.
