A Dublin couple at whose home gardai are alleged to have found cocaine valued at £160,000 have gone on trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Mr Anthony Kelly (56) and Ms Julie Kelly (36), of Kingswood Drive, Tallaght, have pleaded not guilty to the possession of cocaine for sale and supply at their address on September 2nd, 1998.

Det Sgt Gregory Sheahan told Mr Luan O Braonain, prosecuting, that gardai found the cocaine in a red backpack in Ms Kelly's possession.

They were searching the premises on foot of a warrant.
