The National Youth Council of Ireland has welcomed Cabinet approval for the State's first Youth Service Bill, which is expected to be published by the Minister of State for Youth and Sport, Mr Bernard Allen, next week.
The NCYI said the new Bill would set up a National Youth Work Advisory Committee and youth work sub committees would be established in each of the proposed new education boards.
