Council holds first meeting

The first meeting of the Consultative Council on Hepatitis C took place yesterday

The first meeting of the Consultative Council on Hepatitis C took place yesterday. The 16-member council held an introductory meeting, discussed how it would go about carrying out its work, and agreed to hold its next meeting on April 16th.

The council was established by the Minister for Health, Mr Noonan, to advise him on all aspects of hepatitis C, on its own initiative or at the request of the Minister.
