The Minister for Justice, Mr O'Donoghue, had become camera shy following the release of drugs importation suspects, Mr Liam Cosgrave (FG) claimed.
All Ministers loved photocall opportunities and Mr O'Donoghue had looked very well when posing with packets of drugs last week. But the same Minister had not seemed so keen for such publicity in the wake of the releases debacle.
Mr Cosgrave said he hoped that individuals responsible for importing killer drugs would be pursued as assiduously as the drugs themselves.
