The headline on a report in yesterday's editions on a clinical trials conference held on Tuesday should have read: "Clinical indemnity claims could cost €121m".
The relevant part of the report referred to clinical negligence claims against doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers and not to clinical trial claims, of which there have been none to date. The error is regretted.
