Corporation buys 50 houses for £4m

Fifty new houses at Howth Junction Cottages are to be acquired by Dublin Corporation for just over £4 million. Approval for the purchase was given yesterday by the Minister for Housing and Urban Renewal, Mr Molloy. The houses will be available from this summer and will assist in the provision of replacement housing for the residents of the nearby Swans Nest Court flat complex.
